Avenue One HOA

HOW IT WORKS

Owners and/or authorized tenants of Avenue One can enroll their personal and their guest vehicles on the ParqEx platform to permit a vehicle to park 6 times in a calendar month. The goal of the program is to ease the frustrations of limited parking by efficiently managing limited parking for the benefit of the community.

PARKING LIMITATIONS

Onsite staff will verify if vehicle(s) parked in any guest spots are enrolled in the system multiple times per day. Guest spots are enforced 24/7/365. A properly enrolled vehicle is permitted to park in a guest parking spot a maximum of 6 times in a calendar month. Once the vehicle has exceeded the 6 monthly parking allowances, it is subject to tow at the owner’s expense. Failing to properly enroll vehicles can result in the vehicle being towed at the owner’s expense.

Frequently Asked Questions

When you say I can park up to 6 times a month, What exactly counts as “one time”?

Good question! Because enforcement occurs multiple times throughout the day, A “time” is anything from 1 minute up to 24 consecutive hours hours.

Why do I need to provide my name, email, phone, and vehicle information?

Providing this information helps secure the community and ensure the proper people have access. Email & mobile phone is vital to ensure you receive important notifications.

Is Vehicle information necessary?

Yes, accurate vehicle information (Make, Model, Color & License Plate) is required to secure the property and enforce spot designation.

How can I change the email address on file with ParqEx?

Contact ParqEx Customer support with the correct email address, and you’ll be set up with a new account.

What if two security guards note my car using the guest parking space?

Don’t worry; you won’t be marked as using the guest parking space twice. With ParqEx’s enforcer technologies, security & property management will easily be able to note your vehicle has already been reported.

What happens if my guest parks in the guest parking space more than six times in one month?

Unfortunately, your vehicle will be towed after using your allotted six guest parking uses. Luckily, ParqEx’s system helps you and security guards keep track of how many times you’ve already used the six uses per month.

How can I add a guest to the system and ensure they have access to the six allotted uses?

Simply enroll your guests through the ParqEx app’s “Enroll Vehicle” module and that’s it! Be sure to have all their vehicle information before getting started!

I have a disabled license plate or a valid handicap placard, do I still need to enroll?

All handicap spaces at Avenue 1 are provided by the Association and reside on private property, vehicles parked in handicap parking spaces also need to be enrolled. Displaying a handicap placard does not exempt a person from proper vehicle enrollment.

What if I don’t have a license plate or I have a new car and have not received my license plate?

As of Jan 1 2019, CA requires all licensed dealers to issue a temporary license plate. The temporary license plate must be entered. Additionally it is your responsibility to change/add the updated license plate when the permanent license plates are received. Using any portion of the VIN is no longer accepted. Vehicles without a valid temporary license plate or a permanent license plate are not permitted in the system.

What if I have a motorcycle?

Motorcycles are treated no different than a regular car.
